Vision
Improve Infrastructure
Noida is a fast growing city with ever expanding needs. In line with these, decisive efforts will be put on:
- Traffic Management: Ensuring smooth traffic with a mix of traffic flow planning, elimination of bottlenecks, removal of encroachments, and more emphasis on public transport.
- Wholesale Markets: Currently there is no dedicated space for wholesale markets in Noida. Most markets operate from industrial areas. New areas will be earmarked for Wholesale markets.
- Create Jobs: Employment opportunities for youth will be promoted by reviving industries in Noida.
- Law & Order: Improvement in Law & Order will be ensured with close participation of Citizens and Law enforcement agencies.
Improve Sanitation
Open Drains and garbage on the roadside are a key reason for the abundance of mosquitoes and many diseases. Solving Noida's many sanitation problems will lead to a healthier Noida.
- Covered Nalas: All major drains and Nalas will be covered to stop mosquito breeding.
- Waste Disposal: Waste Disposal mechanisms will be put in place by using successful PPP models from other big cities.
- Community Toilets: In slums and unathourised colonies Community Toilets will be set up to put an end to the practice of open defecation.
- Community Movements: Movements like "Lets Do It! Noida" will be promoted and citizens will be involved in improving their surroundings.
Reduce Corruption
Corruption has been a long standing problem affecting every citizen of this country for a long time. With the onset of Anna Hazare's Anti Corruption movement, there is a feeling that every individual will have to be a role model and set examples for others. In addition to this, systemic changes are needed with more transparent process to help stem this rot.
- Set a personal example by following the footsteps of Anna and ensuring no bribes are asked for or paid.
- Fighting against corrupt officials by putting pressure of the citizen’s movement.
- Bring in systemic changes in the delivery of essential government services in Noida.
